Hi, my name is Bailey, I am a 5year old Lab x. Up until a couple of weeks ago I lived with my sister Cooper (who is also up for adoption). I was a bit upset to be separated from her and would love to be reunited but understand if this is not possible. I have made great friends with my new foster sister and will sometime do zoomies with her. I like being around other dogs at home to keep me company. When I am on my own I can fret a bit and need some reassurance.
I love my daily walks, and I can walk beautifully on the lead but like to stop and smell a few posts along the way. I can get a bit nervous with unfamiliar dogs when on the lead. What I love most of all is playing fetch with the tennis ball!
I am a gentle giant who likes to be where my humans are, if you are home I will often want to sit/sleep at your feet or follow you around to see what you are up to. I’m quiet and only bark occasionally. I am very well-mannered and just want to please my human so I can get all the pats. I am housetrained and when my foster mum lets me inside, I really enjoy this, although I also don’t mind being an outside dog. My foster mum is not sure how I cope with thunderstorms and cats yet.
I would really like to find my forever humans with my sister or new foster sister. I am great company, cute and sweet, and sometimes think I’m a lap dog.
