Maggie is an extremely friendly and loving miss.
Currently, in a foster home with another dog, she is social and loves having a doggy friend however is confident enough to be on her own also with the right time and love given. Being a Kelpie, Maggie is very high strung and high energy so is needing the right family to suit her energy needs. She does calm and relax after a big run and exercise and is the happiest girl you will meet. She loves snuggles on the couch and also shares her foster home with a cat, she is a gentle girl. She loves people and is extremely friendly. Maggie is learning not to jump and is still benefiting from training, she listens well and loves treats so training is a breeze.
Needing a secure yard and to be a part of a family home as she is very loyal and a shadow to her humans. She is a water baby and loves to hose and chasing water, although she has never seen the beach, we think she would love it! Maggie doesn't mind having a bath and is a cruisey and loveable girl to have around. She came to SAFE Newman after being rescued from a community where she was abandoned.
