About Jimmy
Hi! My name is Jimmy!
I'm a 14 week old Cattle x puppy looking for my forever home. I came from the pound, so my foster parents' don't know much about my background. I do have a brother, Maverick, who lives with another carer from HHAR, who is also up for adoption.
I'm currently in care with another younger foster puppy and the resident dog and cat. It takes me a little bit to get used to the doggies but once I am I looooveee playing and wrestling with them. I like to look at the cat, but couldn’t care less about her. I'm super relaxed in the car and my favourite hobby is digging in my sand pit. At the moment, I sleep on a pet bed in my foster parent's bedroom. I settle as soon as the lights turn off and sleep through the whole night. My foster parents' have also been teaching me how to sit, lie down and go to the toilet outside, which I'm getting really good at, but I'd love to go to puppy school so I can keep learning. I'm very food motivated so I'm super easy to teach.
I'm currently 14.3kg. My foster mum and dad think I'm going to be a medium sized doggy, but because I'm a working breed I have heaps of energy and would need a decent size yard to run around in. I'm also a super snuggly boy who loves giving kisses. Because of this, I'd love a home where I'm welcomed inside so I can be a part of the family. I do have a little bit of food aggression and I’m still a bit scared of my lead and walking on it (my foster mum and dad think something happened to me before I came to them) so I’m going to need a family whose committed to getting passed these issues. I’d be happy as a solo dog with someone whose home a lot of the time or with a doggie friend.
If you think you'd be a good fit for me, let my foster mum and dad know and they'll send you through an application!
Love and licks,
Jimmy
