About Axel
Hi! My name is Axel!
I’m a border collie x staffy x Great Dane puppy looking for my forever home. I’m about 12 weeks old at the moment and live with 2 resident doggos, 1 resident kitty and another puppy from a different litter. I absolutely loooovvveee playing and wrestling with the other doggos but I couldn’t care less about cat.
My foster mum thinks I take after my dad and won’t be much bigger than a regular border collie. However, because I am a working breed I’ve got ALOT of energy and stamina and would love a medium - large yard and a doggo play pal who can keep up with me. Don’t let that fool you though, I love to snuggle and my ultimate goal in life is to be able to nap on the bed and cuddle on the lounge with you. I love my people and will, no doubt, be your biggest fan and your shadow. However, I do get a bit anxious and vocal when I’m completely alone so I’d need someone whose home most of the time or another doggo who can spend time with me.
My foster mum says I’m super smart because I’ve already learnt how to sit and lie down and I’ve almost perfected toilet training. I would love to keep learning though! My foster mum has also been working on desensitising me to the world. Vaccuums, hair dryers and car trips don’t scare me in the slightest but I do get a bit nervous when someone grabs the back of my neck or pulls my collar too hard. My foster mum says I’m a great walker on leash and one of the heaviest sleepers she’s ever met because I can sleep through the whole night (even when my foster brothers get up to wee).
If you think I’d make a great addition to your family, please ask my foster mum to send you through an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet you!
Love and licks, Axel 🐶🐶
