About Louie 33302 Campbelltown ACF
Hi! My name is Louie. I was sadly surrendered by my owners as they were no longer able to care for me anymore. Don't let my age fool you, I am still an active dog and don't like to be like those other senior dogs who mosey about on their daily walks. You see, I've got places to be, smells to sniff and people to greet! I am a muscular dog, and would benefit from a strong, confident handler who is ready to take on the world with me.
I am not fond of being left alone in the backyard for an extended period of time, and ask that my new family provides me with lots of quality time and attention to keep me happy. In my previous home I was kept outdoors and was not allowed inside... being left alone in a yard for long periods of time made me feel very lonely, and lead me to try and escape to find attention elsewhere. My ideally home would be with a family who has someone home regularly, is able to allow me inside the home and has lots of love to give me. I don't really care for making friends with other dogs. I would much prefer to continue my golden years with just human company so I ask that I am homed as an only dog. I am also not suitable to be homed with cats or pocket pets. Being an older dog it may take me a little bit longer to settle into my new home, but I am sure that if you are patient with me I am sure to become an irreplaceable member of your family. Come check me out. My adoption fee has been reduced to encourage my adoption.

Adoption payment can only be made in person at the Animal Care Facility. We do not do adoptions or payments over the phone and require all potential adopters to complete a successful meet and greet with the animal prior to adopting. For dog adoptions, if a dog is to be housed with another dog after adoption a meet and greet between the two dogs must be conducted to ensure they are a suitable match.
When you have selected a pet, you will be asked to complete an expression of interest form. Following a successful meet and greet with the animal, we can finalise the adoption paperwork and payment. Dogs and cats are booked into Council's contracted vet for the animal to be desexed typically the next business day. We will transport your new pet to our vet for desexing in the morning. The new owner is to collect the animal from the vets in the afternoon.
Please note that this adoption profile may not be the most up-to-date information available, due to the constant movement of animals into and out of the facility.
