Introducing Bertie, our adorable little Rescue mix of Staffy, Bull Terrier & Bull Arab.....A cheeky, adventurous pup, but an absolute snuggle bum! He is a very confident little man and enjoys the company of his brother Albie, who is also available for adoption. Bertie does love to sleep alongside his humans, but is proving to be a super clever boy, so would adjust to new sleeping arrangements fairly quickly. We are looking for a home where Bertie would have the companionship and guidance of another active doggie friend. He will be a very loyal, faithful companion and protective of his family.
Bertie is 1 of 14 pups who arrived in care at the age of 6 weeks. He is currently in care with 1 of his siblings and learning all about the routines of a home. He is learning about respect and manners in the doggie world! He is currently learning to 'sit' and 'wait/stay' and toilet training is coming along great!
Being a typical pup, Bertie loves to taste test everything and give it a good chew, but is easily distracted with toys. When he isn't playing, he loves to follow you around the house and yard, enjoying the companionship of his people.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Bertie will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised boy. We believe that he will be a medium to large dog when fully grown. He is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure he will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
Bertie would be best suited to a home or property with another doggie companion, so that he continues to socialise, learn from and find his place in the pack. He will need an active family who have experience and knowledge of large breed dogs, with a medium to large yard and secure height appropriate fencing. You must also be committed to socialising and training.
Bertie's vet work is now complete, so it's time for him to find a family of his very own. If you think that he would fit in perfectly to your home and lifestyle, please send us through an enquiry! He is located in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast NSW.

If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
