About Kero & Daisy
KERO (pronounced "Key-row") and DAISY are a bonded pair of canine sweethearts.
Very reluctantly surrendered by their female owner due to a change in personal circumstances, these two little dogs are the best of mates and must be rehomed together.
A little bit about each...
Kero is a delightful, tan and white, Jack Russell Terrier mix. He has just turned six (DOB 31/1/2015). His former owner describes him as "the most affectionate dog" she's ever had. A typical Jack, he is a robust, intelligent and athletic little chap with a sunny and friendly nature. He loves everyone, especially his best mate Daisy.
Daisy is a tricolour Miniature Fox Terrier, born 31/10/2015. Smaller, younger and slightly more reserved than Kero, she is nevertheless a determined little lady who knows her own mind. Highly intelligent and communicative, she can let you know when she wants to be fed or fancies a treat. Daisy loves people and greatly enjoys welcoming visitors into her home. She thrives on the company and attention of her humans. A busy little girl, she gets plenty of exercise just zipping around the house, wrestling with Kero and sitting out in the garden watching the world go by.
Kero has no vices that we know of, but Daisy can be an escape artist if given half a chance. Recall is not her strong suit, so secure fencing is essential.
Daisy is a good watch dog. She knows the cars of regular visitors, but will bark if strangers arrive on her doorstep. And, of course, if Daisy barks, Kero joins in.
Both dogs get along well with older children. They have had no exposure to cats.
They are healthy dogs and their previous owner ensured that they had the best of veterinary care.
Kero and Daisy would be ideal companions for a retired person or couple who are at home most of the time and who do not have any other pets. Preference will be given to applications of this nature.
