About Dorothy ~ 14 w/o kitten (on trial 14/2/21)
Meet Dorothy! Dorothy is a 14 week old snuggle pot who was found abandoned in a garage with her other siblings at only a few days old. Dorothy came into care tiny and malnourished and was syringe-fed by their carer because she were too weak to use a bottle. Since then, Dorothy has grown strong and confident and has really come out of her shell!
Dorothy is veeeeery snuggly and will follow you around looking for chin scratches and tummy rubs. She is very playful so would need another cat-friendly cat in the home to keep her entertained and also to curl up next to for a nap after shes worn herself out.
Dorothy and her siblings were named after Nobel-prize winning scientists because their carer thought it was such an accomplishment that they made it into care safely and have thrived since then! This little kitten will make the perfect companion for someone looking to add an extra snuggly kitten to their family.
Dorothy will need to be adopted into a home with another cat as it is recommended by cat behaviourists that kittens have a playmate and forever friend for a more enriched life. All of our past adopters can attest to the fact that two kittens/cats is better than one! This kitten has been through alot so far in her short life and their foster carer thinks they will thrive even more with a friend to keep them company.
Dorothy has been exposed to several small dogs and have never had any issues. She also absolutely love her carer’s adult cats and is always trying to make them play and wrestle. Dorothy would be suited to a home with other cats, and any dogs in the house are calm and cat friendly. She would be best with children over 5 years old. They are litter trained and have very healthy appetites.
Dorothy is available for adoption to an indoor-only home and has had her first kitten vaccination, and is microchipped and desexed. If you would like further information, please contact catsandkittensdrn@gmail.com
Dorothy is in foster care in Shortland, NSW, and her adoption fee is $250. If you're interested in adopting this delightful little lady, please click on this link to apply - https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
