About Esme and Lucy
Esme and Lucy are Adoption Ready ❤❤
We just know this adorable little duo are going to set the internet alight today.
They are very bonded and looking for a special home together.
Chipped as Jack Russell’s, Esme is about 6 years old and Lucy about 3.
They were unexpected last-minute additions to our Emergency Christmas save.
Their history sadly is unknown .. their future however is just dazzling. 🤩🤩
These girls are just the sweetest little dogs.
So full of love, they are just an absolute delight to have around.
Whoever these girls choose to be their forever humans will be guaranteed a lifetime of love and devotion.
They get along great with other dogs and even try and befriend the grumpy old kitty cat at foster mommas house – sadly the loving feeling is not mutual but they are sure he will come around.
Running, playing, zoomies, tug o war, cuddling, snoozing and more cuddling are their pastimes of choice.
Oh and eating .. yes that is another big favourite .. these girls love their tucker.
Being so food orientated they are easy to train and their immense desire to please makes it doubly easy.
They will need regular exercise as they are an active and busy little breed.
Lucy is a great little guard dog and will warn you of strangers approaching but she does not bark generally.
Esme is more chilled and would no doubt sleep through “stranger danger”.
Lucy is a little more timid than Esme (not excessively so) and can sometimes pee a little when picked up unexpectedly. Her carer is working on helping her with that.
They have both been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated.
Additionally we have them booked into our lovely vet at Holland Park next month for a dental and tooth clean – we are happy to cover this appointment cost even if adopted prior.
Esme and Lucy are located in care at Buddina and their joint adoption fee is $875.
We do know there will be a lot of interest in this precious duo and we will only be able to select a couple of applicants for meets initially.

Adoption details
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, first vaccination, worming and flea treatment, current at time of adoption.
Our cats are to be indoor only, we figure this is a big step towards keeping them out of the pound!
Our dogs are to be inside/outside dogs, allowed to be inside at night and in poor weather conditions, included in the family, not left in the yard.
Adoption process includes a meet and greet followed by a home visit ( in your home) by one of our team. Photo ID will also be required upon application.
