About Katut
ATUT aka MR CHOP Looking for his New Homeš¾š¾š
Katut or Mr Chop as heās affectionately known to his foster family will be your best mate and an even better family member. He has spent a month in foster care living with a 11-year-old female Staffy learning how to dog and he certainly has mastered it. He knows his sit, down, stay, wait and come commands and is toilet trained. Heās very food motivated and picks it up really quickly. (Really he would be willing to learn anything for a treat!) Heās pretty easy on the lead and has been learning not to pull when he sees another dog out of excitement and is making progress. You will need to keep this training up.
Heās generally a happy dog who absolutely loves going on walks around neighbourhood, cruising around in the car with you with his head out (secured in a harness of course), chilling out with you watching TV, or being your office buddy. Of the times heās been alone, heās not been destructive but does cry a little when you leave and then will settle and sleep (and snore loudly) until you get home. And boy ā he loves it when youāre home and can cuddle his sooky self. He doesnāt excessively bark but will alert you to visitors.
There are a few things that Katut does get stressed about. He doesnāt like small dogs, high-energy dogs that are in his face and puppies (who are both small and energetic). He hasnāt quite grasped dog play and will get defensive if dogs try to play with him. For this reason, Katut would suit living with an older, calm dog and shouldnāt be off the lead around small dogs. He could also be an only dog but his foster family do think he likes the company of a doggie mate. He has no problem with humans and is very people orientated.
Mr Chop has thrived with a routine and deserves all the love he can get after being homeless for so long. He will be a great addition to any family and will give you so much love and loyalty.
