About Dusty
Dusty is a loving and gentle lady who seeks a home where she the only child so she can be the centre of attention.
She is timid at first, however, within a few days she would be meowing for pats and aggressively headbutts your legs until you give her a proper scratch on the head. She is chatty and purrs a lot.
Dusty will suit a quiet home with no other pets. She is untested with children, but she might not mind gentle, older kids.
Don’t let her age fool you, she is very agile in jumping up and down counters and high up places. She constantly tries to jump to higher surfaces so she can be as close to you as possible. Whether you are brushing your teeth or simply walking past a bench top, she would try to follow you and be as close to you as possible. Although having said that, she doesn’t mind some alone time either. She’d happily perch on a window sill and bask in the sun for hours on end, and chirp at you when you approach.
Dusty will need to be indoor only as she is quite shy in new environments, and does not like any other animals. She is very comfortable around people though, and doesn’t shy away from strangers as long as they approach slowly and calmly.
Dusty is a bundle of joy, and just wants a home where she has someone to talk to and snuggle into. She’s not necessarily a lap cat, but she’d happily curl up next to you and fall sleep while being as close as possible. Sometimes she’s like a dog where if you call her name, she’d answer you and glide over for attention.
