About Marley
Hey there my name is Marley. My story doesn't have the happiest beginning but thanks to BVAR for saving me, my ending will definitely be!
Before I was surrendered to the pound, I had lived my life on a chain in the backyard with little interaction. And the interaction I did have from humans, well, it wasn't always pleasant, to the point I am quite a scared little pup. Every day I am growing braver and braver and have already shown my foster family just how amazing I really am.
I am currently sharing a home with a dog who is similar size and possibly breed. We get along very well and play well. I am happy to learn from my foster brother and to be the submissive one, but will stand my ground when play-wrestling! I've met a few other dogs in care and have gotten along with everyone so far!
I am so far untested with cats, but I have taken an interest in and bark at wallabies jumping over my back fence - what funny creatures they are!
I would love a new home with another dog to play with. I've been through too much to be without a friend and I am so affectionate and playful. I would need my humans to give me plenty of praise, love and affection.
I haven't met children yet. I love everyone so I am sure I will love the tiny humans too, but I may also be a bit bouncy for the extra small sized ones.
I can be nervous around new people, especially men, but every day I am improving. Some times I just need to take things nice and slow to make sure I know I won't be hurt.
I am the sweetest boy and despite my rough history, I am learning to love. I can't wait to find a family that deserves me.
