This little chicken is really coming out of her shell and growing in confidence. She loves human interaction and would love someone working from home often to keep her company. She loves to sit on you or behind you on the couch and happily sleeps on the bed. She isn’t keen on being picked up.

She still gets startled by loud noises or new things but will continue to gain confidence in a calm household. She’s very petite and has kitten energy so will need cat towers to climb on and scratch, tunnels to run through and loads of toys to play with.

She would be suit a quiet house with no children or older children to continue to build confidence. She has met a very calm, senior dog and was ok with this and with a proper introduction is happy to live with friendly cats and calm dogs.

Videos are the best representation of her personality as she will hide from strangers. She may hide for a few days until she feels safe in her new home but will warm up with encouragement.

As Lioness is shy, videos will give a good representation of her personality and meeting in person will involve looking at her in a hiding spot and probably not touching her. She will most likely hide for a few days so please consider this and whether a shy cat on a journey to loving house cat, is right for you before applying.

Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat

- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
