Rex

Rex is a handsome and smart Border Collie cross kelpie who is happy to meet new people!
You’ll be impressed with how quick Rex can learn new things - he already knows how to sit and lay down and is almost housetrained, but needs bit of encouragement with crate training. Rex is a real water baby and likes to play in the water and chase the hose around the garden. He’s a very calm and laid-back affectionate boy who loves cuddles and kisses, gentle with kids and will make a very loyal family member. He sleeps indoors in a crate next to his brother and sleeps through the night. Rex would suit a family who like to be outdoors, go for walks and visits to the park or the beach.

Rex being a working dog mix will need a family dedicated to meeting his needs mentally and physically
He is not a dog that just sits in the yard he will need lots of mental stimulation to keep his working mind happy and healthy and also physical exercise

We strongly encourage if you don’t have working dog experience to research the breeds to ensure a working dog is something you are able to commit to.

Puppy school and on going training is an absolute MUST!!
To ensure this smart guy grows up to be the best version of himself
He is part of the family and is wanting a home where he is allowed inside when his owners are home( and of course during extreme weather) and able to sleep inside.
Like all dogs he needs boundaries to keep him happy.
Please note we don’t recommend dog parks for socialisation they can do so much more harm then good. Happy to chat more about this
