Pumba Prince Of Cats

Pumba came to us quite scared and very neglected, but he turned out to be the sweetest boy!
He is a very big, handsome and fluffy cat (he's not chubby, just really tall), with a beautiful grey coat and green eyes, which make him look like a Russian Blue.
Pumba loves napping, cuddles and chin scratches. He also loves his food and can be vocal when it's dinner time (but he has a very gentle meow)! His favorite spot is next to you, wherever you are and he absolutely wants to sleep on the bed with you at night. He's not bothered whith guests and usually comes to them for pats (also mostly because they sit on HIS spot on the couch!).
He is also very well house-trained, uses his litter and his scratching post, and does not climb on or scratch furniture.
Pumba does not like loud noises and is not the big explorer. He likes playing .. but not too much, because it's tiring. So he would probably not make the best mouse hunter. He would be well suited to a quiet and patient home with people being home a lot.
Pumba is a healthy raw fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. He's had surgery for a luxating patella in November 2020, and has recovered from his surgery well and he's been cleared for adoption. To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
