Angel

Angel was brought into the Devonport Animal Care Centre by our Inspectorate Service, after she was found abandoned at a property. She was quite thirsty and a bit thin, but otherwise happy and in good spirits.

At the shelter, Angel has met other dogs and seems to enjoy their company, however she does not tolerate them being too excitable and would be best suited to be an only dog. She will need an experienced Staffy owner who is able to take her for walks on lead and be able to recognize when she is uncomfortable with other dogs.

Staffies are loyal and loving dogs, who love to make their people happy. Angel is no exception, she loves to smile and be with her people. Being alone makes Angel sad, so she will need a family that is willing to help settle her in and make sure she knows they are coming back when ever they go out. Being allowed inside will help to reassure her and make her more comfortable, but she will need a secure area to go to when she is left alone as she likes to chew to try and calm herself down.
