Ruby

Ruby is a striking, scruffy lady with a sweet disposition. She can run like the wind but at home likes to chill and is an expert at snuggling.

Ruby is a wolfhound mix (approx 25kgs) who is looking for a home with another medium to large sized dog. She currently shares a foster home with another dog of similar size who she loves to play and wrestle with. As Ruby has great prey drive she cannot be rehomed with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.

She is best suited to a home with older children albeit friendly she can be a little exuberant at times and might be a little over the top for young kids. Ruby can a little unsure meeting new people but once you have become acquainted she’s got nothing but love to give. She is housetrained and must have access inside when her family are home. Her very pink skin will be prone to sunburn so adequate shade and protection from the sun when she’s outdoors is essential.

Daily exercise where she can stretch those long legs of hers is a must! Her recall is fabulous and she is social with dogs of all sizes, she currently enjoys a daily adventure where she does huge sprints of the park showing off her supreme sprinting skills.

Overall Ruby is an absolutely awesome dog! She is the total package, gorgeous, friendly, sweet and fun!
