About Marley Girl DL2605
Marley is a beautiful girl looking for her new home. She needs foster care, or can be fostered with the intent to adopt.
Marley loves her pats and belly rubs. She is quite happy snoozing away next to her humans. She is house trained and will sleep indoors through the night until you let her out to toilet.
Marley loves going for walks and runs; she walks well on a harness and walks by your side the whole time. She doesn't react to people walking or riding past, and likes to give passing dogs a friendly sniff to say hello.
A clever cookie, Marley already knows sit, paw, and even gives kisses on cue. She is currently learning to wait patiently for her food, and she will need further practice to establish a reliable recall. She is a strong girl, but underweight and needs a bit more meat on her bones to reach a healthier weight.
Marley is still learning that her favourite humans aren't going to abandon her. She doesn't like being left home alone for too long, so you'll need to work on this together. Short periods, and when you are home with her, she just snoozes the time away. Pending meet, she'd suit a male dog pal for company to help her settle in at home.
Marley is friendly with dogs, not yet kid/cat tested. Due to size and strength she may be best suited to older family members.
If you'd love to welcome Marley into your home, email DFLrescue@gmail.com today to apply!
