About Vila ~ 10 week old kitten (on trial 13/2/21)
This stunning young lady is Vila who is a ten week old kitten looking for a nice quiet home to call her own.
A Vila is a fairy in Slavic mythology and much like her name Vila can be mischievous and will wiggle into tight spots to hide when feeling uncomfortable. So preferably the right home will provide Vila with a safe space where she can confidently retreat and where you won't have to go moving furniture or squeezing in behind the fridge.
Little Vila is a sweet but shy girl who will need a patient family to help her gain confidence and trust in her people. She loves playing with all kinds of toys and is confident moving about her space. However she is still handshy and uncomfortable with sudden movements and when people are standing over her. Vila will need a quiet home and all children in the home will need to be cat savvy and 13+
Vila is a medium-long haired kitten and will need some additional grooming, this should include brushing and will need to continue into adult life to ensure she is free of snags and tangles for her comfort. Being a long/medium hair cat Vila may also be prone to hairballs more so than her short haired counter parts so regular brushing will also decrease the likelihood of any serious hairball issues.
Vila will need a strictly indoor home. She is currently in care with other cats but has not been exposed to dogs and we feel being a shy girl she would be best with a home without a dog. Having a friendly cat in the home would be a benefit for Vila to build her confidence.
Villa has a healthy appetite and is litter trained. Vila is located in Maitland and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Her adoption fee is $250 which covers flea and worming treatment while in care, her first kitten vaccination, microchip and desexing at 3.5 months post adoption with a local DRN approved vet.
PLEASE NOTE: Vila is only available to a home in the Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast area as she needs to be desexed at one of our local vets by the time she is 4 months old.
