Josie ~ 4mo Kelpie X (On Trial 19/02/21)

Meet the lovable Josie. Josie is a friendly, energetic and super playful 4 month old Kelpie x Shepherd who loves nothing more than to run, jump and play all day long.

Josie is an incredibly natured little dog with such a vibe for everything that life has to offer. She is super social with all humans and doggos that she has met while with her foster family and really enjoys getting out and about. She is sweet and gentle and loves pats from big and little people.

At such a young age Josie is still learning all the life lessons of any pup, currently toilet trained once she knows the lay of the land. She is becoming more confident on the lead everyday and is working on her other skills. Josie can sometimes be reactive on lead when she spots other dogs but this is due to her lack of experience out and about. A family with experience helping her know how to best introduce herself would be most advantageous for this perfect pooch. Once she has learnt to follow her owners cues this should improve soon enough therefore preference will be given to owners committed to her ongoing training.

Josie would suit an active family or single person who understands the exercise and stimulation needs of a Kelpie with a medium to large yard. Josie loves to be welcomed inside when her family are home, so this is an element of her new familys lifestyle that will be very important. She currently spends time in and outside the house seeking her foster doggo sisters' company. Josie sleeps inside at night peacefully in her cosy crate. Josie will need a yard with minimum 5ft fencing as Kelpies have a wonderful talent for jumping. Josie is super social and would love to find a home with another dog who has the energy to keep up the pace but also snuggle with her when they have lost steam.
