Lucky

Lucky is a young, excitable, active KelpieX.
Like most kelpies Lucky enjoys being physically active and would benefit greatly in a home with someone with equally high energy who will take him on runs and provide training and plenty of mental stimulation to tire him out.
He gets along well with other medium size dogs and has a playful side. He would make a great candidate for somebody interested in participating in canine sports such as flyball or agility.
Like most foster dogs Lucky was missing adequate training and displayed poor manners in certain circumstances. He has been working on this in foster and his new owners will be given advice to continue his training and help set him up for success in life.
Lucky travels well in the car, is crate trained and has some basic obedience under his belt. He loves swims in the dam and chasing a ball, although he has not yet learnt to bring it back. He’s a smart little guy who picks up new skills well.
He would suit an older family with no young children. He has not been cat tested.
