About Alfie
:
Alfie is a big love bug. He is sensitive and gentle, and loves to cuddle. Alfie plays well with other doggies, enjoys being chased, and loves to hang about in his wading pool.
Alfie’s ideal forever home:
Alfie would suit a loving family home - as he enjoys the company of adults, children and other doggies. He would love to be included in family activities but will need a little bit of time and patients, while he gets used to living in suburbia. Alfie is still a little bit scared of new things but has come a long way with the help of his wonderful foster family.
Alfie’s story:
Alfie was living on a rural property with five other dogs, when his owner was suddenly forced to leave the home. The doggies spent two weeks outside and alone, with a neighbour visiting each day to feed and to check on them. In the time leading up to this, the doggies experienced instability and some volatility due to their owners poor mental health. Despite their experiences, all of the doggies have beautiful and gentle natures.
Alfie’s medical history:
We are unaware of Alfie’s previous medical history but we do know that he arrived into our care in good health. He has since had a full medical assessment and passed with flying colours. Alfie is now desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, ticks, heartworm and intestinal worms.
