On Hold
Hi, my name is Otis (Redding). My foster parents think I am pretty special. I am the calmest, sweetest and quietest of all my brothers and sisters. I love nothing more than snuggling with my humans where a like to bury my head into their necks and fall asleep. I am a bit smaller than most of my siblings and have a beautiful ridge along my back. I enjoy sleeping, eating, cuddles and being with my humans (like a shadow). I get on really well with my human foster siblings (4 & 7yrs) and my doggy foster sister.
I am placid and have the most beautiful temperament. I haven't been around cats or livestock but I'm sure with good training I'll be fine.
I have started basic obedience and am starting to pick up some commands (slowly!). I will grow up to be a large boy so I will need someone dedicated to training and teaching me manners- especially around meal time. I am a bit of a mix of breeds, but I am part working dog so I will need a lot of exercise and stimulation to keep me from getting bored and up to mischief! I'm still a little timid of the lead but my foster family are working on helping me get used to it. I am on my way to bring toilet trained but still need more focussed training (and patience) around this.
