About Toby
Toby has been spending his first couple of weeks as a pet living it up in an inner west apartment with his houndie foster sister.
He is settling well into city life, he loves hanging out with his sister and foster parents, he’s an affectionate, goofy big boy who loves attention and affection. He’s slowly getting used to the noises and strange sights and smells of living in a house, he’s cautious about exploring and would thrive in a quiet home where all the attention is on him.
He enjoys exploring the neighbourhood, he’s still getting used to the city so busy places are a little overwhelming for him. He likes other dogs and regularly joins his Frenchie friend for a walk around the neighbourhood. He does find busy playparks with loud children a bit scary, and he’s a little wary of men, but with lots of patience we are sure that will improve in the next few weeks and months.
He’s toilet trained and has shown no signs of separation anxiety, but being a loving big boy, he’d like a home where he’s not left alone too often. Little humans might be a bit too overwhelming for him at this stage.
