Sampson is a happy boy who just wants to be loved! He gets along well with other dogs and is not bothered by the two cats he is currently living with. He is untested with kids at this time, although has a very sweet nature so should be fine.

He needs someone to build his confidence as he is always looking to please but not quite sure what to do. He loves cuddles and being close with his humans.

Sampson is crate trained and very quiet, even at the vets. He loves to play (especially with the hose) and travels well in the car.

He would do well with some further training. He knows how to sit and is learning how to be patient with his food although he gets very excited. As with most pound dogs, Sampson is protective of his food and should be fed separately to other animals, at least initially.
