On Hold
250 days is far too long for any animal to be at the shelter, and Archer couldn’t agree more!
He doesn’t understand why he is still here when he is such a strapping young man.
We need your help to spread the word to find Archer a home where he can live in comfort the way he deserves.
Though Archer is a very easy-going boy whose main loves in life are tennis balls and food, he is looking for a very special home that will be willing to continue with his medical treatment and regular blood tests.
Archer has a disease called Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia, in which his immune system destroys his own platelets. The treatment for his condition is ongoing, and includes medication that weakens his immune system, which unfortunately means that he is not able to be the adventurous dog he aspires to be.
Please share Archer’s post with friends and family, and if you or anyone you know may be interested in meeting Archer, please give us a call on 9722 1265.
