About Comet
Comet is adoption ready ❤
Comet is one of our Emergency Christmas save babies.
He is now a healthy 11 week old baby, who is so very ready to meet his forever family.
Comet is a happy bouncy puppy who just loves to play.
He wrestles, plays tug of war and has a truly joyful outlook on life.
He is not afraid to try exciting new things and loves most .. with the exception of a bath.
Nope not a fan of those lol.
Does however love his clam shell full of water and jumps into it for a paddle.
Just hitting the puppy mouthy stage and will chew things .. including fingers and toes.
He is happy to chew on cow hooves and toys to keep him out of trouble.
Being so young please understand he needs lots of attention and training – to us this is half the joy and wonder of owning a puppy but it does require commitment.
He would do really well at puppy school as he loves to please and is very food motivated.
He gets silly excited at dinner time and will steal food from other dogs if allowed.
His toilet training is still not 100 % - he gets a tad excited and forgets himself on occasions
Comet does get a bit sad when left alone so another doggo brother or sister would be awesome – one that is patient enough for some puppy play and antics but also not afraid to tell him when he is being too silly.
Comet happily sleeps on his bed through the night.
At the moment he is enjoying playing “Chase that Cat” as puppies often do.
He is simply a bouncy, cheeky, full of life baby .. who needs a family that will love and guide him as he grows and learns.
Comet must be allowed to be part of the family and sleep inside at night
Important Information –
If you do wish to meet Comet please send us a message – we miss comments at times
We do limit meets to the best matches from applications so please do take time when messaging us to tell us about yourself and the lifestyle you can offer Comet
Do not be afraid to sell yourself
Sometimes a pup will have 2 or 3 meets to ensure a perfect match. so please bear in mind a meet does not guarantee adoption will proceed.
We have been advised that these pups are from 2 different litters and are kelpie x
That is truly all we know.
Some pups are bigger than others – some look to have cattle dog – some maybe Labrador – some perhaps staffy.
All so different in looks and personalities but all so very special in their own way.
Each one has been sent to make a family complete and we have a huge responsibility to find each one their perfect family.
We know it’s so easy to get lost in the cuteness but please do take the time to read the personality information to ensure a match to your family before applying.
As is the case with rescued babies, we can offer no guarantees on breed or how big they may or may not get.
If you do chose to apply to adopt one of our precious babies, please ensure you are happy for them to grow to
small – medium
medium - medium
or
bigger - medium
and will love them forever regardless.
Comet has had his first two vaccination and is microchipped.
He is fully wormed and parasite treated.
He has also been flea / tick treated.
His adoption fee is $650 and will cover his desexing at our partner vets when old enough.
The third vaccination is not covered by rescue and will be due at the end of February.
Thank You 🍀
