About Roxy
Meet Roxy one snuggly and totally adorable bunny. She came to SAFE as an owner surrender through no fault of her own, they just did not have the time to give her all the love she deserves.
Roxy is the perfect bunny if you are looking for snuggle. It only takes seconds after her foster carers sit down on the couch for her to quickly find her place nuzzled in their laps.
This gorgeous girl is easily pleased with her favourite food, four-leaf lettuce and the occasional blueberry as a sweet treat. But to be honest, she is not fussy when it comes to food and will eat just about anything! Even things rabbits probably shouldn't, so you will need to keep a close eye on your blankets!
Just like all rabbits Roxy loves to nibble. To help direct her chewing Roxy will benefit from a having a place to dig, toys to keep her stimulated and sticks or bark to chomp on to help those forever growing teeth!
Roxy's foster carers are in the process of litter training and she is progressing positively. With extra time and support she will have it down pack in no time at all!
As will all rabbits, Roxy will need calm, stress free environment, so suited to adult owners or gentle children. She will also need at least four hours a day to roam freely around the house or secured bunny yard, just be mindful that rabbits do not cope well with heat.
Roxy's love is completely infectious and with no time at all she will be a member of the family.
Want to know how to keep a bunny happy? We rabbits need a calm, stress free environment, so suit adult owners or gentle children. We like to spend most of their time with our Loved Ones, with just a bit of outside time if it's good weather. We don't cope well with heat, so when it's hot, keep me inside with the air conditioner on. A healthy rabbit diet includes good quality hay, vegetables, leafy greens, fruit, seeds, roots and herbs. I'll love it if you build playground tunnels with different levels to jump on, hide away and dig in, especially if you change it around from time to time. Sticks and bark are great to chew on. It's important for me to have at least four hours a day to roam freely around the house or bunny secured yard.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
