Rodgie

Hi! My name is Rodgie.
When I first came to SAFE, I was a tiny little fluff ball who was pretty scared of everything. This all changed really quickly. My foster mum taught me lots of new things and I learnt them pretty quickly, she tells me I'm a clever boy every day. Within a day I was onto solid foods and within two days I had learnt how to use a litter tray.

My next challenge was meeting her two cats and GIANT dog (American Staffy). It turns out they weren't very scary at all! Now the big puppy is my protector and I even sneak in for a snooze with her once she's asleep. The cats are my play mates. We chase toys and play in cardboard boxes together, then sometimes they let me groom them or cuddle up with them.

I'm an active boy and love to play. I also like to talk to my foster mum and love a good pat. I even let her pick me up every now and then. When I am tired, I often find a safe place to snooze. I've been known to sleep in washing baskets and behind the cushions on the couch. I tick all the boxes: I am dog friendly, cat friendly and friendly with older kids.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth  - or with another kitten too because we can fly in the same crate!
