~* FOSTER VIEW TO ADOPT*~
🐾💚 MEET JOEY 💚🐾
I’m a complicated but loving and beautiful young man (and if you hadn’t noticed I’m a purebred Siamese).
I am 8 years young, but you’d never know it with my energy at times. I am quite active and have the personality and intelligence of a young toddler. Due to this I need an experienced Siamese/Oriental breed owner!
Nature
When I first came to my foster carers, I was very quick to explore and get to know my carer. I was outgoing and very loving.
Unfortunately, I got sick and was vomiting lots and that’s when the lovely vets diagnosed my Inflammatory Bowel Disease. But the best part was all this could be made better and I can feel well again if I stick to a very strict diet of a special tinned food from the vet. I do not like the taste of this food very much, but my foster carer has worked out that a mixture of digestive sensitive pouches and the vets tinned food tastes yummy enough now for me to consume.
I’m pretty content now, and spend most of my time sleeping. If you’ve got the time and the love to spend on me I am super keen to reward you with lots of hugs and cuddles. I will spend the entire day sleeping on your lap if you’ll let me.
Your furniture is safe from scratching if I have a good scratch post available!
I can get a little shy with my toileting so a covered litter tray is a must. My kind foster carer will even pass my current tray onto you.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I need a very low stress home which means no other animals, and no children (teenagers would be ok), I really don’t want to share your attention with anyone or anything.
Likes / Dislikes
I love my food, but anything other than what the vet has prescribed will make me sick.
I’m super friendly, so be ready to give me heaps and heaps of cuddles.
I am extremely boisterous and am not shy about letting you know what I want and don’t want, so get ready for intense conversations with me.
My PURR-fect home would be as a lap cat to someone older, but I’m gonna need someone with a fair bit of time to spend with me. I need an experienced Siamese/oriental owner, or someone who takes time to research my breed and our needs. I’d rather someone was home more than away, but I’ve been ok with being left alone at home sometimes, I’ll just sleep. You’d better be ready to give me a good dose of attention when you get home, and present yourself for sniff inspection so I can see where you’ve been.
