🐾🎆 MEET RODNEY 🎆🐾

Hi there, my name is Rodney. I was so scared when I came to my foster home, but within a few days I came out of my shell. I love it now when my foster mum wraps me up and holds me tight. I do give her funny looks, but I really love it!

Nature
I am still sorting out my personality, but I think I am going to be a couch potato baby that will enjoy long days by the window while laying on my back and waiting for tummy rubs and food. Sometimes I can be feisty and I may hiss, but that’s only because I am scared, so I’m sure I will soon grow out of that. I love my foster family and I don't mind when they pick me up and smother me with kisses.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with my brothers and sister and one small dog. She tends to bark a lot but it doesn’t bother me. Sometimes a bigger cat comes to visit too; I’m not too sure about her just yet, but with a slow introduction to any friendly dogs or cats and I am sure we would get along just fine.

I haven’t met any children in my foster home. I get frightened quite easily, so I think I would prefer a nice quiet home without younger children.

Likes / Dislikes
I love my food. I like to have time out, away from everyone in a nice dark corner. I like it when you get down to ground level with me so I can play. When my foster mum is looking for me she pulls out the food and I come running! I don’t like it when you stand over me as you look very big and scary. I also don’t like to be touched while I am eating.

I’m not a big fan of long hugs just yet, but as I come out of my shell I think I will start to love them more and more. If you sneak up on me I get really scared, sometimes I might hiss at you and run and hide.

My PURR-fect home would be with another kitten or other animals in the house to keep me company. I'm still learning to live with humans and how to play, so a home where you can be patient with me would be lovely.
