Hi, my name is Tess, well that's the name my foster mum gave me and I quite like it! I'm a 10 year old cattle dog x but in spirit I'm 3 years old. I still get super excited to go for a walk twice a day and walk beautifully on the lead although I insist on stopping at every post to sneak a sniff. My antics don't last long as I'm getting a little too old for such behaviour and my foster mum keeps me on a lead whenever we are out. I much prefer the company of my humans over other animals as such, would be best suited to be the only animal in your home.
I might take a little bit to settle into my forever home, but after a short time I am happy and have a healthy appetite. I love nothing more than a good belly scratch and will roll over on my back if there is the remotest of chance to get one.
My foster mum tells me I am such a sweetheart, well mannered, eager to please and quite a looker for a old dame. I am well house trained and am very happy to lay undisturbed all night right next to the bed. I am afraid of loud noises especially thunder and need to be safe and secure inside until the storm passes.
I really would love to find my forever humans to enjoy my twilight years with. I am distinguished, wise, affectionate and the ideal companion to discuss the meaning of life with.
I'm looking for a quiet home where I can nap during the day and enjoy a morning and afternoon stroll to restore the soul. My foster mum thinks I deserve to be spoilt and loved and in return I will lay by your side, probably snore a little, but be your forever companion.
