About Poppy
Poppy is a sweet inquisitive girl who likes to investigate everything she comes across and will thrive in a home that can give her love, training, and things to do, she is a clever little girl and eager to learn.
Poppy can sometimes be shy at first, but once she gets to know people she will shower them with love and kisses.
Poppy sits and waits for her food to be served and loves treats and responds well to training. She has started to go for walks on the lead and is improving every day.
Poppy is good with toileting and gets it right 99.9% of the time, but doesn’t very much like going out in the rain or onto the wet grass. Who can blame her! She knows how to use the doggy door though, that was easy.
Poppy really enjoys playing with other dogs, is good around kids and loves playing with her toys.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
