About Loki DL2607
Loki is a big love bug, who enjoys a cuddle and snoozing on the couch with you. He is generally happy to stay home while you're out, but he does need daily exercise and mental stimulation to help keep him out of mischief!
A smart boy, Loki been working on sit, and his lead work has really improved, especially since introducing a halti. He will take food whilst sitting calmly, and will sit and wait while his food and water bowl is filled and start eating once you move out of the way.
Loki is nervous around other dogs, but will likely come around with slow introductions. Patience and ongoing practice with socialisation will be needed. He hasn't yet been tested with kids or cats, however he is still learning not to jump up, so may be better suited to older family members. He is perfect for an active home where he will have plenty to do.
His slight cross-eye does mean he can misjudge objects slightly but he doesn’t mind, and he has no trouble chasing flies. Over all, Loki's a great dog, excellent company, and will make you laugh a lot.
If you'd like to welcome Loki into your family, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
Medical notes
Loki has some leg pain we are investigating while he is in foster care
