About Rusty
Hey there, Rusty here
Coming from a rural pound and sadly not being able to stay with my current adopted human due to no fault of mine, I wish for a forever home at last. My human thinks I'm the handsomest, smart and friendly feline guy! I might be a bit shy at first, but wait till I feel safe and you see my true joie de vivre, exuberance and affection shine!
I love chasing a string as well as setting sprinting-around-the-house records, but once tired I appreciate a pat and cozy snuggle-up (my purr attacks are legendary!).
I had a doggy friend at one time and though I have not met any children I'm sure I'll be fine with them as long as they are gentle and like to play on my terms.
I really need another cat friend in my future home.
(Please note: all our cats/kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
