* No cats please
Raycharles is a 10 year, old blind Chi x Poodle. Raycharles was found wandering in the bush, underweight and matted. He is a tiny dog at just under 4 kilos.
He is a very timid dog, who appears not to have been handled a great deal by previous owners. He is however, beginning to trust his foster family and beginning to look for affection, with the odd scratches and cuddles. He is small dog friendly (we have not been able to test him with large dogs) and does enjoy sleeping with the other foster blind dog in the house.
He is a smart dog and worked out how to get in the doggy door with very little training but the three steps down to go to the toilet have not yet been mastered and he still has some accidents overnight. He is a food obsessed dog who will be easy to train in the right accommodation.
He is a quiet dog, who only barks occasionally. Has never been trained to walk on the lead but does not need a great deal of exercise. He just needs lots of love and affection. If you think you can provide a loving home for this old guy. Please fill in the application form.
Raycharles will suit an older retired person or couple with or without another dog, or someone home a lot and able to carry him outside to go to the toilet throughout the day. As he does not see other animals, living with cats are not a good idea.
