About Sooty
*In foster care in Rosebery, Sydney*
Sooty is a handsome and sweet boy. He is very inquisitive and full of energy. His favourite activities include playing soccer with his little ball, and wrestling with his toy fish. He would also love wrestling with his brother who was recently adopted :)
Sooty also enjoys climbing and jumping, and spends a lot of time on his cat tower. He is very affectionate and will follow you around the house “helping” with chores. Once he’s tired out he will come looking for pats, will flop beside you begging for a tummy tickle then purr loudly until he falls asleep.
Sooty loves attention from the residents cats in the house and begs them to play with him, and is friendly with adult visitors.
Like all Maggie's pets, Sooty is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm not overly fussy but would love to go to a home with another friendly cat! I would be happy with a quieter home with a single person or couple (with another cat).
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-level! My favourite activities include playing soccer with my little ball, wrestling with my toy fish and with my brother before he found his furrever home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I'd be fine with older children who aren't going to pick me up all the time and will respect my boundaries.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: The adult cats in my foster home are good fun however as I get bigger, bossier and more playful, I can get a little bit too much for the older cats, so a home with another young playful cat/kitten would be best suited to me. I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs yet.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
