About Phyllis
I am a quiet and sweet little rabbit, who would love it if my new owners had some understanding of keeping rabbits as companion pets, as we really are a clever species and require lots of handling and interaction with our people.
Ideally, I would go to a home where I can have somewhere inside and outside just for me so I can stretch my legs and explore my surroundings. Like all white rabbits, I am an albino. This means I am very sensitive to sunlight, so when I have my time outside time, it's important I keep to shaded areas. I don’t want to get sunburnt or hurt my little eyes. A safe place indoors where I can lounge around, play with my toys and spend time with you would be great! Although I'm a little bit shy at first, I love having my face gently stroked and could doze off beside you from contentment.
I would benefit from another rabbit companion; however we would need to be sure we got along, perhaps someone about the same age as myself or older. If you think that you will be able to satisfy my cravings for companionship, then I would be fine to go into a home on my own.
Have you kept a rabbit before? We actually have lots of dietary and health requirements so feel free to ask our staff if you have any questions.
Please contact Lort Smith Adoption Hub.
Medical notes
I do have potential pododermatitis on my hind feet, I would benefit from being kept off hard surfaces to prevent any further progression. Currently I do not require medication for this.
