Our gorgeous fluffy boy Moose is still searching for his perfect forever family. Moose arrived into care alongside his two sisters after they found themselves orphaned. He was only 2 weeks of age, and has been handraised in our care.
Moose is a total sweetheart!! He's big, soft, and oh so gentle. He loves human attention, and will flop in your arms for endless cuddles and ear scratches. He's still an active and fun loving man, but a little more docile than his sister Divvy. He can be a bit standoffish initially until he warms up to his humans but once he does, he is a big sookie baby. Moose is going to mature into a big boy, and will also need someone who is dedicated to keeping his beautiful coat regularly brushed.
Moose's new home must have another young and friendly cat to give him company whilst his humans are out and about. He is also well socialised with gentle dogs but would prefera home without young children. His new home must be 100% indoors unless he has access to a secure outdoor enclosure or catio.

Adoption details
If you would like to know more information about any of our rescue animals, our rescue group, or to arrange a meet and greet, please email us. Please provide us with your name, email address, contact number, and some information about yourself, and the home you have to offer one of our rescue animals.
Please understand that Gary and the Handicats is run by a Vet Nurse who works 2 jobs and also cares for sick and high needs rescue animals. We strive to get back to you within 24 hours, but during busy kitten seasons their may be a delay. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please note we do not run on a "first in first served" basis. We screen applicants well before proceeding with adoption. Vet and rental references may be required for certain special needs adoptions.
We receive a large amount of interest in our handraised kittens, and certain special needs animals. Please understand that if you're application isn't successful, this may just be due to the amount of applications we have had for that particular animal, and not because of the home you have to offer. Preference is always given to our past adopters.
