Peanut

Peanut has grown from the tiny little kitten he was at the end of December into a very handsome adolescent! He is sick of living in a shelter though, and really would love to be in a home. He may take a little extra TLC and patience to settle in and call his new home his own, but he will develop into a lovely cat.

All kittens need to be kept safe, as they can climb too high, or jump from too great a height until they get it worked out, so care must be taken to supervise kittens in new situations. They also need to be taught to play appropriately - that means not laying claws and teeth on human hands or feet - so interactive toys such as ''wand'' style are best.

The RSPCA promotes responsible cat ownership and, in-line with the Cat Management Act, we recommend keeping cats inside at all times, or having a secure outdoor play area for them to venture into safely to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.
