About Betty
I look good now, but it wasn’t long ago that I was rushed to Lort Smith Animal Hospital because my intestines got all kinked up (known as intussusception). But the folks at Lort Smith have gotten me feeling as good as new! My prognosis is excellent and no concerns are expected. Now I just need a forever home.
I have a lot of energy to burn, so I’m looking for an active home with people who have experience with Australian kelpies like me. I love to learn, so ongoing training with me is a must.
Ideally I should not go to a home with small animals or young children because I might end up playing a little too rough! But I would really love if I can have an older, confident canine sibling who knows how to play and can teach me how to appropriately engage and interact with new people, dogs and environments.
Medical notes
Suffered intussusception (kinked up intestines) - now all fixed. Prognosis is excellent and no concerns are expected.
