About Zula DL2599
Can you picture yourself enjoying each day with Zula?
When Zula wakes up, he enjoys a little cuddle and head rub, then makes his way outside to sit in the sunshine for a while. He very much enjoys sitting in the sun, until he hears his breakfast being prepared, then he runs excitedly inside to eat! Once breakfast is over, he wanders back out for some more sun bathing. Once he is done appreciating the rays, he heads indoors for a nap on the couch.
When it's walkies time, Zula gets excited to see his harness and waits patiently while you put it on. He enjoys sniffing a lot on his walk. He doesn't much like coming across other dogs, so he'll need ongoing training with lead work and socialisation (and to be your only dog at home). Short walks for now, only 15-20 minutes at a time but this may increase as his fitness improves.
Back home, time for another sleep! That was a big walk for little legs! Lots of napping for the afternoon. Then in the early evening, he likes to play with a few soft, squeaky toys, running around with them in his mouth. And finally, dinner time and snuggling on the couch with Mum!
Zula is currently on a diet and is doing very well, losing a little bit each week. As for training,
Zula will come (for food) and is just perfecting a sit (for food!). He is looking for a place where he can continue his weight loss and training. He is best suited to a female owner, and may be okay with a patient male at home who will allow Zula to become friends in his own time. He hasn't yet been tested with kids or cats.
If you'd love to welcome Zula into your home, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
