About Milo
Milo is a character! Definitely a people's pup.
He is friendly, loves the kids and his humans in general. Milo is good with other dogs but will require further socialisation. He still hasn't figured out the cat though.
Milo enjoys morning runs, his food (and yours if it's left unattended) and lots of snuggles. He is sure to steal your heart (and your soft toys).
Milo would be best suited to someone who is home for the most part, leaving him for only a few hours at a time. He tends to worry a little if you're gone too long. He would love lots of walks and is house-trained so is used to a certain level of living (inside, comfy bed, snacks). He can be initially shy but once he knows you he loses all concept of personal space and will take all the cuddles you can give.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website https://radarescue.org/adoption
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within two weeks of the adoption.
