Hi my name is Indie. Sadly I’m needing to find a new home due to my families circumstances changing.
I’ve been to obedience school but my new owner will need to take me to school so they can gain leadership skills. If you don’t want to attend obedience school with me please don’t apply to adopt me.
I can be a bit reactive towards other dogs and I don’t like little white fluffy dogs which is common with us Stafford’s, although I do behave myself when I’m at obedience school, it’s because all the dogs are kept under control so they don’t rush at me.
I’m looking for a home with people that have owned a Stafford before and that understand the breed.
Even though I’m 7 years old I act more like a 2 year old dog, I’m very fit and active so I would like to find a family that will keep my exercise and training up. I’m very scared of thunderstorms and if left outside during one I will try and escape, so you need to make sure you’re home if there’s going to be a storm, this isn’t uncommon with any breed of dog.
I’ve lived with children but because I’m so full of beans I could easily knock young children over and to be honest I want all the attention.
I can get obsessed with toys so you will need to take them away from me and hide them until my next playtime and don’t let me see where you hide them, if you do I will sit and look at them.
I know the commands how to sit, stay, wait, drop, come, go on bed, down & off, so I’m pretty smart!
I’ve got a really nice nature, I love cuddles and attention, I actually think I’m a lap dog and I will sit on your lap if you let me, I love water and chasing my ball plus plenty of walks.
I know I’m asking a lot but I’m sure there must be someone out there that would love to give me a forever loving home and in return I will give you my unconditional love and attention, I promise.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!
