Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Flora - Located in Northcote
Flora is a rare find: exceptionally beautiful and intelligent. She loves to sleep in the sunlight and to play with her toys. Her expressive eyes will melt your heart.
She was rescued from a hoarding situation so is shy at first but, despite her early challenges, can open up quickly. She never had too many attentions but sure she enjoys them.
Flora has been diagnosed with moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia, please see medical notes. Flora has other 4 siblings with CH available for adoption.

Medical notes
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care. No health issues unless listed below.
Flora has been diagnosed with moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a condition that doesn’t get worse over time, the cat will adjusts and learn to cope with it. It affects coordination so that cats have wobble walks but otherwise enjoy the same long and fulfilling life of any other cats. She is litter trained and clean, totally independent. Check out CH facebook group (with 17K members), youtube videos or Instagram stories. CH cats need to be indoor and preferably only cat unless with siblings (because they can’t defend themselves) and would need carpeted or non-slippery floor to walk around with ease (no wooden boards).
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue would like to help ensure you and your new companion have a long and happy life together.
If you should find that you are not a purrfect match - or if you need to rehome your cat at any stage of its life - Maneki Neko Cat Rescue will take the cat back into care and find a new home.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions.
Although all our cats and kittens are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of a new environment can upset their immune system.
