About Romeo
Romeo is a big snuggle-bug. He is 5 years old and loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you, especially while the cricket is on and its just too hot to go outside! Romeo has good doggy manners at home - he waits patiently outside the kitchen for his food although he has been know to do a cheeky counter-surf on occasion!! Romeo sits on command and shakes his paw too. He is still working on his recall but is smart and quick to learn.
Romeo loves water and enjoys a good splash around. He loves chasing his ball and can be protective of his food. He is quite excitable when he knows he's going for a walk and often barks in the car until he gets to his walk. Romeo loves his walks, sniffing everything along the way and is working on his doggy socialising skills. He walks beautifully on lead but is reactive to other dogs he sees along the way and will therefore need to have a strong family member in control of Romeo's 40+ kg body and a family who are prepared to continue his socialisation training.
Romeo would suit an active family who take him for long walks each day so he can then snooze the day away at home. He needs to be the only dog at home. Romeo is not suited to small children but loves older kids who will play tug-of-war and ball games with him. He would love some space to run around in. He doesn't bark when left alone at home.
Romeo is an inside dog and likes to lie inside on hot days. He is on a raw diet and loves carrot and broccoli. He is very affectionate and follows his humans all round the house. If you're looking for a dog that thinks you are the most important thing in their world, then Romeo is the dog for you! Please email us as much information as possible about yourself, lifestyle, working hours, exercise regime and experience with large breeds. ROMEO IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR INTERSTATE ADOPTION, EXCEPT ACT
