Hi my name is Shadow!
I have very typical breed traits of a German Short Haired Pointer, so I'm looking for a home with breed experience. I'm very smart and keen to learn new skills, I've already mastered "sit" and "shake". I love playing fetch and staying active, so a big daily walk will keep me fit and happy. I'm an escape artist, so I'll need a large fully enclosed and secure yard to play in.
I can be a little anxious, I need time to feel safe and learn all about the world. I am best suited as an only dog in my new home, but once I've had further training and socialization I may be happy sharing my home with another dog in future.

RSPCA Victoria operates on an adoption-by-application model. When browsing our available animals, there is an option to submit an application to adopt. Once an application has been submitted, the applicant will be contacted with information on next steps. Please note we will be unable to book adoption appointments at our sites unless this application has been received.
