About Alita
Meet Alita,
You may notice her shaved leg in these pictures that's because as a teenie tiny 8week old kitten Alita was taken into a vet clinic as an injured stray. She had a complicated break in her leg and some wounds on her tail.
With no owner we stepped forward to help Alita and pay for specialist surgery to save her leg.
She missed out on a lot of socialisation due to the huge recovery from her surgery.
Alita was such a champion throughout everything. She recovered so well and was so well behaved during her crate rest.
Alita has met other kittens in care and can be sassy with them at first however once she realises they aren't a threat happily plays with them. This process of her living happily with another cat does take time, it can't be rushed.
Alita is shy at first with new people but once she knows you she is a complete purr machine that melts in your arms.
she was confined to a crate for 6 weeks after her surgery so she is making up for lost time and extra kitten crazy. She loves to play and has loads of energy. Alita loves all toys and just loves being high up on her scratcher.
Alita has lived with dogs but takes some time to trust them so if you have a dog it must be one that will give her lots of space.
Alita is suited to older kids due to her sometimes getting overhwhelmed with the young one in her foster home.
Alita loves to snuggle and melts in your arms when you pick her up. she is the perfect companion for working at home and loves to be with her humans.
Alita happily gets carried around like a baby and loves attention from her foster mama she is quite demanding for attention
overall Alita is the perfect little addition.
Alita is an INDOOR ONLY cat.
Medical notes
Alita did have major surgery to her leg and does have some permanent plates in her leg.She had X-rays 4 weeks post surgery and everything was perfect with the plates surgery was sucessful.
She has recovered perfectly. Her leg isn't 100% straight but it doesn’t affect her at all. she is still building back her muscle on her leg after 6weeks crate rest.
Alita does get one weepy eye however its been vet checked and never caused any issues what so ever
