Mouse is Adoption Ready

We know you have loved meeting the little personalities behind our 18 Christmas Miracle pups.

They have given us a few headaches and scares along the way, but we wouldn’t change a thing.

You have met 17 and now its last (but very definitely not least) little Mouses turn.

We saved Mouse till last for a reason – he is just a little bit different.

Mouse was the runt of the litters and it has taken him a while to catch up to the others.

On arrival his long whiskers, little legs and squeaks of delight when he got a cuddle made his name obvious.

Not much has changed really ... his little body is a little bit bigger but squeaky little Mousy Mouse is still as special as ever.

Mouse is best described as a “Pipe and slippers” puppy.

He really is like a little old man at times.

He loves his dinner and a nice big snooze afterwards.

He is slowly learning the puppy ways and does have bursts of energy but overall he is a quiet little soul.

He loves his soft toys and his puppy toys and he adores a cuddle.

Mouse has struggled a little being separated from his siblings and can be a little sooky if left alone.

Mouse is a pup that needs company – he is so very undemanding in so many other ways, but he does need to know you are around.

He is also showing a little bit of cheekiness (trailing cords – so chewable , washing on the line – great for swinging from).

Mouse is in care with 2 medium dogs who he gets along well with but he is not overly interested in rough play or “dog” ways, preferring a chew on his toys and a sunbake.

His little legs do tire quite quickly.

Mouse has been slower than his siblings at house training and does still have accidents – he does well if he has access to outside and puppy pads.

We are looking for a really specific home for Mouse and we do ask that you respect that.

He needs a family with patience as he is a little slower to learn.

He needs a quiet and gentle home as too much activity overwhelms him a bit.

He would thrive as an only dog so he doesn’t miss out on attention but would really benefit from puppy school (if he can stay awake for the duration)

He absolutely must be allowed inside with his family and have a bed close to his people.

Mouse is 8 weeks old, he is just an adorable squeaky, chubby baby with the sweetest face.

Mouse is in Foster care in Strathpine

Do not be afraid to sell yourself

Sometimes a pup will have 2 or 3 meets to ensure a perfect match. so please bear in mind a meet does not guarantee adoption will proceed.

We have been advised that these pups are from 2 different litters and are kelpie x

That is truly all we know.

Some pups are bigger than others – some look to have cattle dog – some maybe Labrador – some perhaps staffy.

All so different in looks and personalities but all so very special in their own way.

Each one has been sent to make a family complete and we have a huge responsibility to find each one their perfect family.

We know it’s so easy to get lost in the cuteness but please do take the time to read the personality information to ensure a match to your family before applying.

As is the case with rescued babies, we can offer no guarantees on breed or how big they may or may not get.

If you do chose to apply to adopt one of our precious babies, please ensure you are happy for them to grow to

Their adoption fee is $650 and will cover their second vaccination at out partner vet as well as desex when old enough
