Orphan Annie got her name when her pound picture came through. Poor little mite was in a big cage all alone, no Mother or siblings and was the picture of fear. She wasn’t a strikingly good looking kitten as kittens go, and was destined to be PTS. Silver Lining put a save on her and she came into care with another young kitten who thought he owned the whole world. Orphan Annie’s health was poorly and it took a wee while for her to start to feel like she wanted to be part of what was going on around her. With the help of some medication, good food, TLC and her little friend Cupid, she has developed into a self-assured young lady. She now loves gentle human touches and given time will become your best friend. Her favorite toys are balls, which she hides only where she knows, and just when you think you had better do a search, she will appear with one or more and show off her soccer skills. She is growing into a beautiful young cat. Annie is currently living with adult cats and smallish dogs and is friendly with all. She would suit almost any household but possibly not one with little children as she is still a little timid.
